Makeup look for school
We as teenage girls know that it is hard to find a make-up look for school that covers blemishes, is fast to do and isn't too strong and obvious. It took us a while to come up with this look but it works great for us and is very suitable for school :)
1. Clean your face well with a good cleanser that suits your skin type and doesn't dry out your skin.
2. Apply a small bit of moisturiser. If you apply too much your face will look shiny so do not do this.
3. Apply a small amount of light liquid foundation that matches your skin tone. Blend well so there is no streaks. If you have clear skin you may prefer to use a tinted moisturiser instead.
4. Apply concealer to any blemishes you may have and on under eye circles and redness.
5. Apply some translucent powder using a blusher brush. This well help to set your make-up.
6. Apply a small amount of eye liner on your upper and lower lash lines. This will stop you looking tired and will bring out your eyes.
7. Apply one coat of mascara. Move the wand while applying it to avoid clumps.
8. Finally, apply a layer of lip gloss and your ready to go!

How to master a smoky eye
A smoky eye is an essential make up look to master as it goes with any look and it is a timeless classic. You can wear it anywhere from going to school to going out at night. However, some find it tricky to get the technique right. No need to worry any more because we have all the tips and tricks on how to achieve the perfect smoky eye so that you will never be stuck again!
1. The first step is to prep your eyes. Do this by applying a light concealer all over the under eye area and on the eyelid.
2. Using an eye liner pencil, line both the bottom and top rims of the eye. Make sure that you go into the lash line itself to avoid it looking too white against all the darkness.
3. With an eye shadow brush, blend the edges of the lines that you have drawn already. Then apply a dark shadow over the lined area and smudge. The shadow softens the look.
4. Next apply a lighter shadow in a neutral tone over the whole eyelid. Soften and spread outwards for a perfect blended look.
5. Add any mascara of your choice to your lashes and make sure to apply lots. A good option would be Benifit BadGal mascara as it creates a very dramatic look.
6. Finally, clean up any eye shadow that has dropped below the eye and clean up any smears with a cotton bud. Then you're all ready to go !

The perfect wavy hair
So we all want that frizz free, shiny and perfectly waved hair that we see on so many celebrities and models in magazines and on TV. But its unachievable right? Well actually wrong. Just following these simple steps will have your hair ( yes even yours!) looking gorgeous in no time.
1. Wash and condition your hair as usual. Apply a golf ball sized amount of mousse when wet and scrunch.
2. When drying your hair, turn your head upside down and roughly blast it with the dryer to create texture. However only dry until damp.
3. Section off your hair using clips into seven or eight pieces.
4.Twist each section into a loose bun and secure at the end with a hair grip.
5. Leave your hair to dry naturally in the buns for about twenty minutes.
6. Take out the grips and comb the waves into place with your fingers.
7. Use a curling iron to fix any pieces that didn't really work out and then you are finished! you should end up with a beautiful, beachy look :)
