Get up and exercise!
It is recommended that teenagers get at least 60 minutes of exercise a day but this is easier said than done (usually we are too lazy!). However after researching for this article we realised how important physical activity really is for our health and wellbeing! Here are a few benefits of exercise to get you motivated and get you moving :)

2. Excercise provides a good break from study during exam periods. It refreshes the body and clears the head. it also reduces stress.
3. Excercise is good for your mental health. It lifts your mood, offers a distraction from worries, helps you feel more confident and releases happy hormones in your body. It has been scientifically proven that excercise helps to fight depression.
4. Excercise can provide you with a great way to meet new people. Joining a sports team or starting a dance class in your local area can be great fun and it also opens you up to a whole new social circle and lots of new friend possibilitys.
5. Exercise boosts your self esteem and body image- Many teens are very insecure and self conscious but ecercise can help to overcome this. By improving your strength, endurance, balance and coordination, through exercise you feel stronger and more confident.
